When ULTRA OS development can be financed by donations then it will be free for anyone to install on their supported hardware. But “Free” doesn’t mean that you as an investor cannot make money with ULTRA OS. Apples MacOS/IOS is based on Linux and Google’s Android is also an open source operating system.

– Country-wide franchising solution (sale of hardware bundles and receiving percentage of app shop fees)
– App-Shop marketing fees
Donation might be enough to develop the OS but they will not be enough to push ULTRA OS to a global success to compete with the current market leaders.
Millions are needed to purchase hardware and for the marketing.
But you can finance for a smaller amount for example a hacker-safe version of ULTRA OS or one for kids.
